COCKROACHES
Cockroaches are a common critter, but eliminating them from your home can be a delicate job! That can of Raid under the sink can only do so much. Cockroaches reproduce fast and often, so it’s likely if you see one, there are many more.
Here are some of the most common types of cockroaches, so you know what you’re dealing with.
German Cockroaches

BED BUGS
If you’ve got bed bugs in your home, the first thing to do is to establish how severe the infestation is. Down & Out Pest Control are here to help! We will spray a specific bed bug insecticide throughout the property to eradicate bed bugs.

WASPS
If you notice wasps on your property, the first thing we’ll do is classify what type of insect they are and most importantly, what kind of nest you have and where the nest is located.
Visible wasp nests:
If they are clearly visible and not near frequently visited parts of your property, you can just leave these as it’s unlikely they will inconvenience you. If the nest is in a common area of your home, Down & Out Pest Control can effectively spray and remove it for you.
Ground wasp nests:
Down & Out Pest Control will treat ground nests with an insecticide into the nest opening. Once we are certain the wasps are eradicated, we’ll fill the entry with soil and apply more insecticide.

Down & Out Pest Control can also assist you in termite baiting and monitoring. We can install stations in sections of your home to monitor and identify termites. We can then place baiting stations in areas we know that termites are. The chemical used is safe for your family (kids and pets).
The monitoring system used involves,
- Installing monitoring stations into the ground around the full external perimeter of the property
- installing above ground stations inside the structure if there are active termites.
Monitoring and baiting is a really effective way to eradicate termites.
